Introducing EigenCloud: a new developer platform to build powerful, verifiable apps on any blockchain.
TL;DR:
EigenCloud is here: A new platform for building highly expressive and sophisticated crypto apps. a16z has purchased an additional $70 million in EIGEN to accelerate EigenCloud’s growth. This is on top of their previous $100M Series B lead.
Three new developer primitives:

EigenDA V2: Hyperscale data availability (Live on mainnet at 50MB/second.)

EigenVerify: An industry-first settlement-as-a-service offering that provides strong, customizable security guarantees to resolve any dispute. EigenVerify eliminates the need to write custom fraud proofs and offers three powerful dispute modes—objective/deterministic, intersubjective, and AI-adjudicated. (Devnet preview live)

EigenCompute: A new verifiable offchain compute service that extends onchain security to any containerized application logic and computation. Developers can write app logic in a cloud container and use EigenCompute to automate deployment on any chain. (Q3)

EIGEN stakers:
We have created new services based on the EIGEN token. EIGEN now allows EigenCloud to run complex programs off-chain while staying fully secure and verifiable. For EIGEN stakers, these services will bring new rewards from app fees. These fees can support staking rewards, fund new products, or boost the ecosystem with incentives.
This is a massive step towards making anything verifiable onchain and opening up the crypto design space to all developers. We’re unlocking the next era of mass-market crypto applications.
