Bytebell is a context copilot that ingests GitHub, Notion, blogs, PDFs, forums, and other web urls, then builds a version aware graph with file and line anchors.
It returns answers with receipts that link to the exact repo path, commit and line or the doc page, and it works in the IDE, website widget and web panel.
Generic LLMs mostly pull from the top 10 search results for your query and stitch an answer without provenance, so they miss depth and cannot prove where the claim came from.
Pain points we solve
-
Docs and code are scattered across repos, blogs, specs, and tweets. Search is slow and context breaks
-
AVS concepts feel abstract. Operator setup, BLS, slashing, EigenDA flow, and monitoring all need exact steps with the right version
-
Breaking changes move fast. People copy old snippets and miss a subtle config or a renamed flag
-
Teams need receipts. You want answers tied to the exact file, line, commit, and the doc page where it came from
-
Onboarding is heavy. New devs spend more time hunting links than shipping an AVS or wiring EigenDA
Our core strengths
-
Answers with receipts. Every reply cites the exact source and line so you can verify before you act
-
Version aware graph. We bind answers to branches, commits, and releases so guidance matches the code you run
-
Exact retrieval. We fetch minimum high signal spans from repos, docs, and specs instead of dumping long context
-
Refuse when unsure. If we do not have the source, we say so and ask for a link to index
-
Real workflows. AVS quickstarts, operator runbooks, EigenDA paths, slashing checklists, failure modes, and test plans
